Family Conversation Starter

We want to help you start a conversation with your kids today about what we learned in church. Every week, you can find an overview of what we learned and discussion questions here. On the way home from church or around the table this week, use these questions to start a conversation together as a family.



This week kids at church kids learned that we can trust in God, who always keeps his promises. In Genesis 12 and 15, God made a promise to a man named Abram, who is later called Abraham. God kept His promise because He is faithful and trustworthy. As we get to know God, we see He is faithful, He always keeps His promises and we can trust him fully.

Water Baptism

There is not a perfect age to be baptized, however, as children get older the more deeply they will understand what baptism means and be able to remember their baptism for their whole life. We recommend kids be in grade 5 or older before they start exploring the opportunity to be baptized. If you believe your child is ready to be baptized please contact Pastor Danae at [email protected].
