Chelsea, alongside her husband Armin, has a vision to disciple and train the young men of Vanuatu so they grow into godly, skilled men, husbands, and fathers.
Vanuatu is a South Pacific nation of 83 small islands, home to more than 300,000 people and over 100 languages. Many residents face deep poverty, and young men from the smaller islands often have little access to education. In 2022, Chelsea and Armin founded Impact Ministry Vanuatu, where they feed, house, and train 12 to 16 young men aged 12 to 21. They teach trades like construction, mechanics, and carpentry while discipling the young men through Bible study and devotions, equipping them to find good work, provide for their families, and serve Christ.
Chelsea and Armin each moved to Vanuatu independently, in 2015 and 2016, after volunteering with YWAM ministries. Armin went on to become youth pastor at International Christian Church. The two married in Vanuatu in 2019, and three years later founded Impact Ministry together.
